- BOTOX relaxes the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation, resulting in smoother skin. It is best for frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s-feet
- Dermal fillers restore lost volume and plump the skin to fill in wrinkles and areas of facial atrophy. These are best for sunken under-eyes or cheeks, thin lips, deep facial creases
- Semi-permanent dermal fillers such as Sculptra® work gradually to help your skin naturally replenish its own collagen stores. They are best for long-lasting volume replacement.
Combined Treatments
There is not one specific cause of aging; many different changes in the skin contribute to an aged appearance. Therefore, it’s necessary to address all of the factors associated with aging by combining multiple treatments. By using BOTOX in conjunction with dermal fillers, I am able to treat 2 conditions at once: loss of volume and wrinkles. Additionally, strategically placing BOTOX and dermal fillers can create a lifting effect, which improves sagging skin — another common sign of aging. In some cases, laser or light treatments may also be helpful for improving skin quality.
